Butterfly Project honors Holocaust’s youngest victims, shares stories of hope, remembrance

Speaking at the Upcountry History Museum in Greenville on March 17, Rabbi Matthew Marko told the story of a group of people freezing to death in a boxcar taken to Auschwitz. One man, seeing an elderly man shivering, moved to help keep him warm. By sunrise, they were the only two left alive. Their shared warmth had saved them.
